Adding classmates
Quick Search: Enter the first name/ last name/ email address of your classmate in the search field located at the top of the page. Click on the icon or hit enter to reveal results. Once you have found the person you are looking for click on 'Classmate Request' and a request will be sent to him/her for approval. Once approved, your classmate will automatically be added to your Address Book.
Change my search results profile
When someone searches for you by default they will see your; first name, last name, school name and the city and country your school is in. These settings can be controlled by you. To change how others can see you select 'My Stuff' from the top menu and click on Privacy Settings.
Blocking
If you block someone, they will not be able to search for you, see your profile, your posts, videos, messages or interact with you. Blocking someone may not prevent all communications and interactions when using third party applications, and does not extend to elsewhere on the Internet. If you change your mind, you will have to unblock and re-send a request to add them back into your contacts.
To block a classmate, do a quick search and on the results page you will see a link to 'Block Classmate'. Click on the link and follow the instructions.
Why can't people search for me?
If you are finding that people are unable to search for you, make sure that you have chosen this option in your privacy settings. To verify this select 'My Stuff' from the top menu and click on Privacy Settings. Next go to the section labeled Classmate Search Privacy and choose the option that suits you best.
